Hindenburg crashes!
Another anarchist attack?
Yesterday, the Hindenburg, a zepplin from Frankfurt, ignited into a ball of fire over Paris. The airship was know for completing a single round trip to Sternhafen, Neuhanseland, it later returned to Frankfurt and started flying towards Paris, Fortwhile. Although there hasen't been any research done on what ignited the Hindenburg, there have been many rumors of it being another anarchist attack. We should have more information on the crash next week.
Anarchism still on the rise.
A week ago, Londinium saw many anarchist uprisings, most of which are not appearing to be calming down on the contrary it has been growing from jsut riots to terrorist attacks. Some nations have resorted to executions while others have tried peacfull methodes. In nations like Fortwhile and Germany, the Hindenburg disaster has been feeding the popularity of far-right mouvements. We have been able to get interviews with 3 out of 4 party leaders (we could sadly nor contact Calfupan):
Our interview with Lady Cari:
- "What are your thoughts on anarchism?"
- "Anarchism is a self-defeating political ideology, seeking to completely eliminate many of the fundamental institutions of society, causing it to collapse. It's an even bigger farce than democracy."
- "How do you plan on stopping the anarchist mouvement in your Dominion?"
- "Quite simple. Those who are caught actively demonstrating or protesting are executed. Those who support them more quietly will either be scared to support them any longer or will be forced to take an active role themselves, so we execute them. Those who are known supporters but who have not actively demonstrated will get what they want--they will be cut off from all government services."
- "Last question: do you consider anarchism worst than communism and fascism?"
- "That is a complex question. The end goal of Communism is actually anarchy, and it's leftist, so I would venture to say that I find theoretical Communism worse than anarchism. That being said, Communism in the totalitarian form in which it usually exists is a bit more palatable, given that they are at least trying to uphold a social stability.
And being quasi-fascist myself, I certainly find anarchism worse."
Our interview with Kaiser Willhelm:
- "What are your views on anarchism?"
- "Anarchism is the wicked ideology that chaos has a god given system . The opposite is in fact what all anarchist Show with their violent acts upon innocent citizens of all nations , and thus proving the irresponsiblility of this movement that is privileged to not be shot on sight or even affording to be on the streets not working."
- "If there was to be an anarchist movement in Germany, how would you handle it?"
- "Depending on the severity of the dangers to our population, reasonable responses would be enactet to prevent and exterminate this Group , defining it as terroristic."
- "Do you think that the violent responses of some of the nations affected by the anarchists are justified?"
- "The German Empire does not acknoledge the violent responses against citizens as justified, but disclassifies anarchists, alone by definition, as citizens and recommends the full defence of non rioting citizens by any means necessary."
- "Which ideology would you consider the best and the worst out of these: Anarchism, Fascism and Communism? Is Anarchism the worst of the 3 or no?"
- "Communism and Anarchism both are the death of the natural order , since both do not grant the potential of either the freedom of the market or the needed security of it to thrive and benefit the trading parties. Fashism is a means of reaching a certain goal , by denying human rights to those opposing and thus making it illicit.
For the greater good there is no way to be achived by fashism, since a greater good would not have to censor its opposition nor would it gave any. Anarchism is not the worst , but the most unachiveable of the 3 named Ideologies."
- "Do you believe the Hindenburg disaster was an anarchist attack?"
- "The German Empire will investigate the source of this terrible event and will find the ones responsible and bring justice upon them. There is no point guessing who or even what it was."
Our interview with the Bymaria, the current prime minister of Londinium:
- "So, first question, what are your thoughts on Anarchism?"
- "While I understand many ideologies of anarchy would appeal to some people, I myself believe that anarchism is a fantasy; we must maintain a strong and secure government, without infringing too much upon people's freedoms. The New Democratic Party believe in democracy, acting in the best interests of Londinium, where the power is still with the people and while I may disagree with some aspects of the idea, it is certainly an interesting topic and it is important that people be allowed to share their opinions provided there is no violence.
We'll always require some form of leadership and I'm therefore opposed to anarchy."
- "If an Anarchist movement was to rise in Bymaria, how would you deal with it?"
- "It depends if it is a peaceful or violent movement."
- "How would you react to a violent one?"
- "It would always be a last resort for the riot police to be enabled, but in such extreme situations, that would have to be the case.
It would entirely depend on how much support the movement has gained but we will, as much as possible, respect a majority decision by the people and avoid becoming a dictatorship. However I can say with some certainty that no such movement has or will arrive."
- "What do you think of the violent responses against the movements of the affected nations ?"
- "Anarchy often arises when people are unhappy with their government or leadership and violent actions toward their citizens will not counter this. I urge these governments to ensure that they uphold democracy and act in their citizens best interests."
- "Final question. Would you say that Anarchism is worst than Fascism and Communism?"
- "That's certainly a difficult one. It really does depend and there are different ideals across a variety of societies, so each would have a different effect on each.
There can be anarchy that is chaos, but likewise anarchy that is harmony. Fascism that creates order, or fascism that oppresses. Communism that is equal, communism that is not. I don't think there's a single answer there."
