Noticed a lot of embassy closures today.
I'm not against thinning the list of friends if the goal is to create a more focused list of allies, but was just curious as to the Minister's thinking.

One thing I’d like to point out is that the highest population of the regions closing is 39 (Kaisertum Ossterreich), followed by the 19 nations of TGU. Clearly they are of little benefit to us, but additionally the themes of certain regions discouraged me - and I believe I speak for our Chief Diplomat as well - from continuing relations with them. This is the case for all of the embassies I closed.

Nyelant went through some of them already, but Bymaria was the main force. As he mentioned on the RMB, this had some to do with the militia (the idealogically questionable ones could have hindered potential alliances with more powerful regions). But the smaller ones were also not serving us any purpose.
So, in other words, somehow I got Bym interested in a military and conformed him to my idea of FA without trying.
