Fellow residents, members of the Assembly of All, MPs and my esteemed colleagues in Government,
Looking back on what I perceive as a prosperous six months for Londinium, my second term as Prime Minister of this great region comes to a close soon. I will, in this speech, outline the successes of my administration as well as some hopes for the future.
Together, ladies and gentlemen, we have built this region; through our collective talent, co-operation and strength; through our effort and determination. We have continued advance as a region, one of now 95 residents, under my leadership into a safer, stronger future. The Regional Law Library has been completed, along with a government seal and some Factbook contents to make information easier to navigate. Most recently, I passed an Executive Order democratising and improving our Roleplay system. We have developed the first official foreign policy, passed legislation and stood strong under pressure and hardship. Together we overcame those hardships. Together we made a difference.
We participated in the NS World Fair, albeit with only a menu thread I made in our booth, but this was still a positive experience for us. We should continue being involved with these events in the future.
I would like to offer my thanks to the people of Londinium for giving me the opportunity to change this region for the better. I really hope that you all have seen improvement and I have been able to better some aspect of Londinium for you. If there is one legacy I desire, it is to be remembered as a Prime Minister for change - change for the greater good and advancement of our region.
I truly am grateful for the hard work many of you have put into the region, especially that of my ministers who I wish the best in the future. I’d like to take the opportunity now to endorse Nyelant ’s campaign for Prime Minister and hopefully soon KingdomOfUnion for MP too.
With more time on my hands, some things I’ll be looking at next is constitutional reform and how to implement a new election system that works for everyone.
Another way I’ll use this extra time will be to expand the New Union Party’s base and publish more articles for the Londinium Post. I’ll try to propose a new World Factbook Entry and attempt to continue sending recruitment telegrams to keep our population steady.
I look forward to serving in other capacities and hope to have success in my campaign for MP. (Won’t at all be completely gone!)
Thank you, and may Londinium continue to prosper.
