The Styles Creation Act (2018)
Short Title
1. This act may be cited as the Styles Creation Act (2018).
Scope
Noting that Styles are not the same as feudal titles and shall not be designated as an actual regional honor but as a name style for government service.
Provisions
1. The following offices shall reserve the right to use the title The Right Honuorable, abbreviated The Rt Hon., during their tenure, and for life:
(a) The Prime Minister
(b) The Lord Chancellor
2. The following offices shall reserve the right to use the title The Right Honourable, abbreviated The Rt Hon., during their tenure:
(a) The Deputy Prime Minister
(b) The Speaker of the Assembly; or equivalent.
(C) Justices of the Courts who are not Lord Chancellor.
3. The following offices shall reserve the right to use the title Honourable, abbreviated The Hon., during their tenure:
(A) Members of Parliament
(B) Cabinet Members
4. All foreign ambassadors shall reserve the right to use the title His/Her Excellency, abbreviated H. Excellency, during their tenure.
Use of Style
5. That any citizen who has a right to the above title may put such designation in their forum signature if they wish.
6. Citizens validly claiming such designation, if they have not received it during a reasonable time period, shall request that the Forum Administration to put such Style in his/her name but not in such a way as to change the person's login username. A user group maybe be added for each of these if such use as previously described under 6 doesn't work.
The individual may also change their forum name by editing their profile. Forum Administration shall make sure that this option is available to all affected parties.
7. No person shall use a Style that isn't validly theirs and Administration may remove any use from signatures or usernames.
8. The government officials listed under this Act may hold up to more than one Style; by default the most senior style shall take precedence over a more junior style or whichever the Official chooses for their designation.
