Having heard no rebel activity in days, our policies seem to have been working, as we announce that all rebel groups have ceased to exist within our borders. After a market attack was shut down, the movement seems to have been diminished in size by a substantial amount, and practically eradicated from the Empire, as natives accept a new, more preferable, government. Our defences will remain for the time being, but commercial activities will resume as usual in the lands of the now secured Empire. We shall now proceed for a full scale invasion of the remaining provinces, starting with 236 and 237. Men of all types will be integrated into our military to swiftly undertake this operation without hassle and a reward will be provided for the General who has orchestrated the failed revolution - dead or alive.

Per a grant from King Scot VIII to Bymaria, the Bymarian Empire will attain Scotland and its African territories as part of its Empire. The king handed over his kingdom under the conditions that his monarchy will remain the head of trade in Scotland, and his monarchy will hold royal claim and status in the British Isles and Ireland. These conditions have been accepted by the Bymarian Empire, and as such, Scotland and its African territories now belong to the Empire of Bymaria.

I period of mourning has taken ahold of Cochardia, as the black veil has now covered the portrait of the former Grand Duke. Though young, he had taken a sickness and had died a most painful death, worsened by that of the assault from the foreign diplomat. It is a terrible day indeed, as thousands of hundreds fill the streets of the capital, crying out for the loss of their beloved leader. He is to be succeeded by the eldest son, His Royal Highness Duke Wiley Rali Kyla-Vero II of Cochardia, known to be a more diplomatic and trustworthy leader. The Grand funeral is to be held in a days time, as the Grand Duchy invites the leaders of all nations, to join in the grieving. Soon after the mourning of royalty, he shall be taken throughout the streets of Rowena, as all across the country will fill the streets, in the grievance. He is then expected to be laid to rest in the Royal Crypt. Soon thereafter, in memoriam, a totaling 5 palaces, and 100 statues are to be built to commemorate the Grand of all Grand Dukes

To pay his respects the aging Emperor Octavius of Bymaria extends his sentiments to the nation of Cochardia and (upon the advice of his counsel) has decided to attend the funeral. As high councillors in Alethion grow increasingly irritant of the Emperor’s disregard for their legislative authority and failure to respond properly to natural disaster, doubt grows within the nation over his claim upon the seat of power. The very principles of the Empire, having been upholded for centuries were now under threat. Under the leadership of Marcus Lurius and Antoninus Borren, The high council knew something had to be done. It was so, that a conspiracy was hatched. Little did the frail and callous Emperor know, in attending the funeral, he was obeying the will of those seeking to undermine his power and reform the country, reversing his isolationist policies...

While the Emperor travels, confusion seems to pervade Bymaria, with only a few number of councillors aware of any plot. As the high councils begins session - going against the Emperor’s orders not to take any action in his absence - the youngest councillor, Paul Flavilius, is not present. Flavilius, along with the head of the Bymarian Emperor’s guard, was attending a meeting with some Cochardian officials and guards said to be orchestrating the Grand Duke’s funeral.
Two political factions appear within the council: those in support of Octavius and those opposed to his regime. Eventually, the council was in a majority agreement to discuss removing powers and potential restrictions to enact on their Emperor.
The doors to the Bymarian Imperial palace were barricaded as debate (and conspiracy) continues...

OOC: 1.I don’t know how you have spies who are members of the high council and cen so I doubt they would be people in on the conspiracy. 2. The doors were barricaded before debate begun and no one was allowed to leave.

The world mourns as the death of the Pope has been announced to all. After a week of secrecy and holding ceremonies, they announced the death to the world leaders. It was a saddened day for all, as the Papal States and the rest look towards the funeral to view the passing Pope. The Church leaders are to hold the ceremonies for a new Pope, and it shall bring the light back into the eyes of Europe. It is expected that the death of the Pope is to follow the funeral of the Grand Duke, within the courts of the Church, and is expected to be a grand ceremony. All are expected to attend as the death has come to a shock, and shall be remembered for years to come.

The Bymarian Emperor has arrived in Rowena for the Grand Duke’s funeral and has met with the Duke’s son to offer his condolences. The German guard were dismissed and replaced with some Cochardian guard as he takes residence in the capital awaiting the day of the funeral. Meanwhile, the doors to the High Council were unlocked and members permitted to leave, having taken a vow not to disclose the events of that evening. Remaining councillors continue to work late into the night, with rumours that they have been together writing a new constitutional document as the fate of the present emperor is unclear. Some speculate that the Council will strip him of his powers and regain their power over the Empire. Councillor Julian Cyrus, born in Spain, has taken the opportunity to give a speech to the public. He mentions a new age for Bymaria and how soon, the Empire will move forwards together, himself keen to be able to facilitate a new prosperity as well as relations with the Deutsche-Reich. He seeks to democratise areas of local governorship and open trade routes into our newly gained land. Cyrus does not, however, disclose information of the discussion taking place in the High Council.
